Anurag Singh, Managing Partner at Ansid Capital, is an ardent follower of the value investing school. He comes with a legacy of working with leading financial organizations like GE Capital, Citigroup, Prudential life & US based private equity funds.

Anurag is published extensively at prominent international print media organizations on macro-economic issues & stock markets. He contributes regularly on business channels like CNBC, CNA, ET Now, etc across US, South Asia & India. Anurag has an MBA from IIM Lucknow, India.

Investment philosophy at Ansid Capital is top down & macro driven with focus on valuations. We invest with the following principles:

Value: We are value investors who wait for quantum upside that align with macro cycles. We invest largely within S&P 500 & NASDAQ 100 securities. In our portfolio, we prioritize alpha over beta. In the spirit of “skin in the game”, Anurag’s family investments constitute appx. 10% of the fund.

Focus: Investing across multiple sectors in the name of risk diversification indicates lack of conviction. We believe in concentration & stay focused on a 25 stocks portfolio in select sectors. We don’t hesitate to stay in cash & wait for right opportunities with an eye on macro cycles.

Growth: Value approach doesn’t ignore growth opportunities. We capture growth at reasonable price & avoid exuberance. Risk is permanent loss of capital. Everything else is short term volatility.
